Best rated modern artists by Jean Arno

Top rated modern artists from Jean Arno? Jean Arno is an influential artist from the artistic group, Astrée. Primarily known for his poetry and philosophical aphorisms, he defends the idea that man is, in essence, a creator. Shaping ‘the inextinguishable fire of life’ thus makes up the sacred mission of man, as a poet. He stands alongside those who continually battle against the invasive and deadly forces of contempt for the world and for life, and alongside those who put their creative forces to the service of the highest affirmation of life, those who believe that ‘the impossible can only ever occur by attempting it’. Everything that prevents the affirmation of the highest life and diminishes the power of being is criticized with passionate ardour: the temptation of fame and glory; the escape into entertainment and artificial paradises; the resignation and capitulation of thought in the face of today’s immense problems; the standardization of the spirit in the paradigm of common judgment; the passivity or the boredom-murderer who justifies the existence of reality TV, for example: “Crowds sate their hunger / Like hyenas seek revenge / On the torments and the terror / On the tears and blood of men”.

The new, digitized universe, praised by Mark Zuckerberg, opens up a world of infinite creative possibilities, which is why the digital art gallery Art & Above has decided to take the plunge by moving into the Metaverse. “We have created a new kind of art gallery: any artistic object—including the art gallery itself—becomes the occasion for an artistic experience … for collaboration. The visitor is no longer a contemplator; he is called to become an artist himself and to create”, says the founder, Jean Arno.

What forms will the arts take in the digital universes now commonly called the Metaverse?
NFTs (non-fungible token) artwork, protected by unique numbers, is now unequivocally the future of the arts. For example, suppose the punk-geek universe dominated the NFT art market in the 90s and 2000s with its video game, comics, manga heroes, heroic fantasy, and science fiction. In that case, it is now competing with artists who produce the new art of the 21st century. Such art includes satirism like Bansky’s iconic street art, with its strong criticism of capitalism and mass public manipulation at the hands of politicians and the media.

Why did you choose poetry? I have written in other genres under different pseudonyms, but I’ve often said that poetry is the supreme art. The magnetic forces of the images mix with the raptures of a tamed music that compels the soul to sing more highly the drama of its depths. Through poetry, senses and thought are sharpened, and the worlds they covet and desire to conquer are hollowed out. This fact is essential — today’s world is devoured by the god “Useful,” with its superficial and usurped splendors, and poetry appears to be the only remedy. Its invincible light pierces the darkness of the ineffable and conquers the sacred fire to set existence ablaze. Poetry animates life, in the Latin sense. That is to say, it endows it with soul and freshens it with a pneuma, a nourishing and fertile breath. See more info on Jean Arno artist.

The game is worth the candle: new fragments appear when one manages to elucidate the mystery: “Every soul that darkness stirs up digs the world with such a stubbornness that chasms blossom with stars of unknown splendor.” When it is not the pleasure of the “game” or the Orphic enigma which carries away the heart of the reader, it is the philosophical accuracy of the subject (“In our reasons murmur/Mysteriously/the eloquent speeches/of our obscure passions”) and the symbolic and Parnassian beauty of the tamed verse: “In her eyes of sapphire / Full of light and clarity / Desires lose themselves / In avid immensity).” When one loves great literature and philosophy, one can only be conquered by this monument of splendor.
